Summer Finale |
Warm-up and stretch - We will do some fun warm-ups including some games to warm-up camp students. Then we will do some necessary stretches to get the students physically ready for our different activities.
Gymnastics : We will spend some time on floor obstacle course, bars, beams, tumble track, rings, and vault to learn some gymnastics skills. Skills will be based on each camper’s age and ability. Our goal is that every student learns some new skills or gains more confidence with skills they've already learned.
Theme Time : We will discuss our themes for the week and fun activities as well as projects will be working on.
Activity/Game Time : Camp students will be introduced to different activities or games and have a great time learning and doing different activities or games.
Arts and Crafts : Campers will make a new craft each day that is related to the theme of the week.
Outside play: Weather permitting, we may head to a local park for some fun in the sun!
Open Gym Time : We will also schedule some open gym time so campers can spend some time on his/her favorite activities.
Additional activities, including swimming, may be scheduled and parents will be given advance notice and be required to give additional permission.
Reminder for Parents:
Make sure to dress your child appropriately for all activities. If your child is staying for the full day of camp, they will need a sack lunch with a drink. Gymlingo will provide snacks for all campers in the morning and afternoon. Be sure to discuss any food allergies with the Gymlingo staff.
